In order to offset some of the lost income from GM, Rick Hendrick is considering expanding his affiliate program, according to SceneDaily.com. That could mean JR Motorsports making a move to the Cup series in 2010 with Brad Keselowski as the probable driver.
Our View: Now that Mark Martin is going to stay in Cup for another full time season, they have to come up with something. They can't keep Keselowski on the shelf forever.

Ever see Jr driver for his own team?
ReplyDeleteNot for quite some time. I think he knows his limitations, and at the moment - I think he knows he's too immature. He needs the structure that Hendrick Motorsports brings.
ReplyDeleteHe would probably make more starts in his Nationwide team, though. And then he would have the Cup team to fall back on if he ever needed it.
